AFRODITA

Aphrodite is an ancient Greek goddess associated with love, lust, beauty, pleasure, passion and reproduction. You will feel like a goddess in this beautiful dress!

The dress can be worn with leggings, for example. In the gentle chill of early spring, it will keep you warm on the ski slopes, but you can just as well use it while enjoying a warm cup by the fireplace with a friend. It's an unbeatable garment for anything!

Like many Icelandic knits, the sleeves are knitted first, then the cuffs, and finally the yoke, which joins them together to form a finished garment. You can choose from two different hem models. In the dress itself, the front and back pieces are the same, so you can wear it either way. You can easily succeed with this instruction!

MATERIALS, SIZES AND ACCESSORIES
Yarn: Istex Léttlopi 50g/100 m and Istex Plötulopi 100g/300 m according to the table below. 80 cm circular needles and double pointed needles 4.5 mm or depending on the craft, and an auxiliary needle for knitting braids.
Changing the length of the hem: 1 ball of yarn increases the length of the hem by about 10 cm in size M and 8 cm in size XL. More detailed materials can be found in the attached pictures.

Note the density of the instructions is 20 s / 10 cm, ensure the handwriting by knitting closed stockinette stitch. Note Be careful with the knitting density, because the difference of even a couple of stitches affects not only the width of the work but also e.g. to the height of the arch!
