BRYNJA
is a woman's name whose meaning is
"armor" or "protection". It is of Scandinavian origin and comes from the Old Norse word brynja. The name reflects the Viking Age concept of a warrior and is associated with strength, protection and perseverance. The shirt has several different collar options, from which you can choose the one that suits you best.
The shirt is at its best when you're outdoors; the dense knit keeps you warm in all weathers.
Like many Icelandic knits, the sleeves are knitted first, then the body and finally the yoke, which joins them together to form the finished garment. You can adjust the height of the collar to suit your needs. The shirt uses simple techniques, so you can enjoy the flow of knitting.

With these instructions you can easily succeed! You will have no trouble knitting Brynja with this pattern!
