The glittery blouse and skirt are sporty outdoor wear that will do well even in freezing weather. However, the model is femininely designed and close-fitting. You can wear the clothes together or separately. The skirt part is ideal for hiking, keeping your hips and bottom warm even when sitting on a rock.

On a dark background, the light patterns of the blouse and skirt create a strong contrast and the patterns can really shine and sparkle. The model also works really beautifully with light and delicate shades. You can also replace the Alafosslopi yarn used in the model clothes with double Lettlop or Plötulop if you wish.

The wool of Icelandic sheep has evolved to withstand the harsh conditions of the northern island nation and is characterized by good wind and moisture resistance. In Iceland, clothing made from this wool is used as both inner and outerwear, depending on the thickness.

You can wear an Icelandic knitwear outdoors even in mild frosts or light rain, especially when the surface of the garment has become fluffed up through post-treatment and use. Thanks to its fit, it also fits well under outerwear.

MATERIALS, SIZES AND ACCESSORIES
Ístex Álafosslopi 100g/100m or Ístex Plötulopi 100g/300m in doubles and 80 cm circular needles and double pointed needles 7, 8 and 4.5 mm or according to your hand size. More detailed materials can be found in the accompanying images.

Note. The pattern has a gauge of 14 sts / 10 cm, ensure the correct size by knitting in closed stocking stitch. Note: Be careful with the gauge, as a difference of even a couple of stitches affects not only the width of the piece but also the height of the yoke!
