HOVI cardigan

COURT
The cardigan is made from Harmaala yarn using the wool of the rare Kainuu Grey sheep and is spun by Saimas Spinnery. The wool is combed and has a unique silky sheen. The wool jacket is soft and warm, and is suitable for both summer and winter use.
The cable patterns make the knitwear come alive, and so knitting it is not boring! The cardigan is knit in the round, without seams, and finally cut open at the front at the end.

MATERIALS, SIZES AND ACCESSORIES
Yarn: Saimas Spinnery Harmaala grey, 200 m / 100 g according to the table below, or other yarn with similar flow.
Needles: 80 cm circular needles and double pointed needles 3.5 mm or according to your hand size to achieve the stated density. Cable needle. You can also knit the braids without a connecting needle.

Note. The pattern has a gauge of 22 sts / 10 cm in stocking stitch, ensure the correct size by knitting in closed stocking stitch. Note: Be careful with the gauge, as a difference of even a couple of stitches will affect not only the width of the piece but also the height of the yoke!

Cable knit reduces the circumference of the jacket and stretches, so please take this into account when choosing a size. The measurements given are approximate, as cable knit is denser than stockinette knit. The sleeve and body lengths can be knitted as needed, example measurements in the pattern.
