Product type

Karamellur lett is a thinner version of the popular Karamellur sweater.
Made from Lettlopi, the sweater can also be worn indoors, but it is at its best when worn outdoors. The high collar protects against wind and drafts, and if you want, you can also make a hood for this shirt using Karamellur's pattern.
Like many Icelandic knits, the sleeves are knitted first, then the body and finally the yoke, which connects them into a finished garment. You can adjust the height of the collar to your needs. The shirt uses simple techniques, so you can enjoy the flow of knitting. With this pattern, you can easily succeed!

MATERIALS, SIZES AND ACCESSORIES

Istex Léttlopi 50 g / 100 m and 80 cm circular needles 4.5 mm or according to your handiwork. More detailed materials can be found in the accompanying images.

Note. The pattern has a gauge of 18 sts / 10 cm, ensure the correct size by knitting in closed stocking stitch. Note: Be careful with the gauge, as a difference of even a couple of stitches will affect not only the width of the piece but also the height of the yoke!
