KARAMELLUR
Karamellur (caramel), which means candy at home, is a wonderfully colorful and feminine outerwear for a spring hangout.
You knit it quickly with double Plötulop and you can use all your lovely favorite colors for the delicious strait-like caramel patterns of the yarn. If necessary, you can replace part of the Plötulops with an Álafosslop or a double Léttlop.
According to most Icelandic knitting patterns, the sleeves are knitted first, then the bodice and finally the yoke connecting them. The hood completes the look and usability of the garment, its decoration on the back edge continues with the same candy pattern as in the hood. Always make sure the handwriting matches by knitting a sample patch.
Nice knitting moments!
MATERIALS, SIZES AND ACCESSORIESPlötulopi 100g/300m or Istex Léttlopi 50g/100 m in double and 80 cm circular needles 7 mm and double pointed needles 3.5 mm or depending on the pattern. More detailed materials can be found in the attached pictures.
Note the density of the instructions is 13 s / 10 cm, ensure the handwriting by knitting closed stockinette stitch. Note Be careful with the knitting density, because the difference of even a couple of stitches affects not only the width of the work but also e.g. to the height of the arch!
