The KINUSKI brioche sweater is made from Saimas Spinnery's Kuutinvirran Kuningatar yarn. The yarn is super soft and light, and the brioche knit is thick and wonderfully warm. The sweater is oversized, and the collar can be made as a shallow, turtleneck, or roll-neck. The work is knitted in the round up to the armholes, and from there flat, with both sides of the neckline knitted separately. The shoulder seams are joined by grafting, and stitches are picked up for the sleeves from both sides of the body.
MATERIALS, SIZES, AND ACCESSORIES
Saimas Spinnery Kuutinvirran Kuningatar 360 m / approx. 100 grams or
another yarn of similar yardage.
Needles: 80 cm circular needles and double-pointed needles 3 mm or to achieve the stated gauge.
Note: The gauge for this pattern is 20 sts / 10 cm in brioche stitch knitted in the round.
