sweater was named after a flower found in the Nordic forests, in English the name is twinflower.
This pattern is unbeatable outdoors; the wool fabric keeps you warm in any kind of weather. Linnea is a garment for any outdoors activity!
Linnea is quick to knit. As with many Icelandic sweaters, the sleeves are knitted first, followed by the body, and the yoke comes last, combining everything into a completed garment. You will have no trouble knitting Linnea with this pattern!
MATERIALS, SIZES AND ACCESSORIES
Plötulopi 100g/300m or Istex Léttlopi 50g/100 m in double and 80 cm circular needles 7 mm or depending on the craft. More detailed materials can be found in the attached pictures.
Note the gauge of the instructions is 13 s / 10 cm, ensure the gauge by knitting closed stockinette stitch. Note Be careful with the knitting density, because the difference of even a couple of stitches affects not only the width of the work but also e.g. to the height of the yoke!
