Woodland Gate The iron fences and lattices of the hem and bow of the Icelandic knitted dress act as a gateway directly to the world of the forest spirit itself. The wool of Icelandic sheep has developed in the harsh conditions of the northern island nation and is characterized by good resistance to wind and humidity. In Iceland, clothes made from these wools are used a little, depending on the thickness, both as inner and outer clothes.

In an Icelandic sweater, you can go outside very well even in a little frost or in a light rain, especially when the surface of the garment has become wrinkled due to post-treatment and use. Thanks to its fit, it also fits well under outerwear.

Istex Lettlopi yarn and 4.5 mm double pointed needles + 80 cm circular needles. More detailed materials can be found in the attached pictures.

Note the density of the instructions is 20 s / 10 cm, i.e. a little more than the general Lettlop density, i.e. a little denser. Be careful with the handwriting to get the same density, because with a looser handwriting, all dimensions will increase, especially the height of the arch. If made according to the instructions, the dress will be just the right size, but with a more casual hand, the fit can be anything.
